JACKIE GALLAGHER
Jackie Gallagher is the founder of Sparrow Schools Educational Trust and the driving force behind its vision and growth. What began as a small Saturday School with just four learners soon expanded to 550 within five years, with Jackie personally raising the funds to secure classrooms for the growing demand. Recognising that sustainable impact required more than one person, she established a board of trustees to help strengthen the Foundation School and build the Combined Skills School.
From these humble beginnings, Sparrow has grown into a respected institution that now includes a fully funded FET College, offering education and skills development to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Jackie’s passion has always been to create a safe, empowering space where children in vulnerable circumstances can thrive, achieve, and dream beyond their limitations.
Today, Sparrow Schools stands as a professional and highly regarded organisation, with a proven track record, an innovative and focused curriculum, and countless accolades. Most importantly, it has touched the lives of tens of thousands of learners, turning vision into lasting impact.
